USU Creative Award's exhibition open now

You are invited to visit Verge gallery to view the 2022 USU Creative Awards exhibition curated by Master of Art Curating student and Verge curatorial intern Anneka Scholtz.

The awards are open to all students and are the USU's largest creative arts prize, highlighting the very best of visual arts, writing, and music, from our student members. The exhibition showcases finalists across the categories of Art, Word, and Music, the USU Creative Awards exhibition features a diverse range of student work across these three categories. The artists, writers, and musicians featured in the USU Creative Awards navigate themes of intimacy, identity, familial bonds, memory, ecologies of nature, community, and reflect the self-conscious processes of making, writing, and composing for young creatives today.


Students, staff, participants, friends and family are encouraged to visit the gallery and place their vote for the People’s Choice Award. Voting for the People's Choice Award closes 3 November, 12pm.

Verge is open Monday to Friday, and is located on City Road, Jane Foss Russell Plaza, Camperdown Campus.
